Peter Snowden is a former country jockey and trainer who worked his way up the ranks to become head trainer of the Inglis operation Woodlands Stud following the departure of John Hawkes.  He stayed in the top role when the operation was sold to Darley and has delivered outstanding results for the racing giants, particularly with younger horses.  Snowden leaves the post after the BMW Sydney Carnival to train in partnership with his son Paul.
